Saudi Royal Court announces death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz

(Jeddah)  – With deep sorrow and grief, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud announced the death of his brother, Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, who passed away today, Saturday, 26 Rajab1433H (16 June 2012) outside the Kingdom, God bless his soul.

Funeral prayers will be held, God willing, on Sunday, 27 Rajab1433H (17 June 2012) following Maghrib (sunset) prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

The Royal Court extends its condolences to the Saudi people and asks God Almighty to bestow upon Crown Prince Nayef His mercy, forgiveness and eternal peace, and reward him for his services to his religion  and his country.
